More Troubles?

This comment just came in.

"Help these Characters are now taking advantage of Monroe County New York tax payers. Rather than ripping off regular folks, seniors and fixed income renters in these parks they have gone to ripping off all tax payers, having the tax payers subsidized their junk projects to the tune of 40%. Sadly the politician think these guy can do no wrong. Send your comments on your experiences to the local paper reporter email - maybe they will wake up before it is to late."

Robert Moser is a business executive from Saratoga Springs, New York. He is the owner and CEO of Morgan RV Resorts,[2] a division of Morgan Management LLC which was once the largest operator of RV parks and resorts in the United States.[3] He owns and manages over $2 billion in real estate assets through his various companies' ownership of apartments, mobile home parks, retail, office, self-storage, industrial parks and hotel/resorts, including the campgrounds and amusement park Indiana Beach.[4]

Early life and education[edit]

Moser grew up in Queensbury, New York.[1] He attended Union College in Schenectady, New York where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with studies focused onFinance in 1999. His Honors graduate thesis at Union focused on the valuation of RV parks and mobile home parks, a career field that he took up after graduation.[1]

Moser began purchasing RV parks in 2001 along with business partner Bob Morgan, growing a portfolio to 36 parks by 2008[1] and 55 locations by 2011. He grew the company with purchases during the beginning of the century, securing approximately 25,000 apartments primarily east of the Mississippi.[1] In 2008, he oversaw the purchase of Indiana Beach, a resort located in Monticello, Indiana. The purchase included the amusement parkwater park, the camp resorts, restaurants, hotels, and all other operations of the resort. Indiana Beach was sold by Morgan RV in September 2015 to Apex Parks Group. Moser expanded the company's portfolio in the self-storage business with the purchase of 700,000 square feet of self-storage units in late 2013. This added to the already 17 self-storage properties owned by the company.[4]

Rumor has it that an auction was held on July 23, 2015 for Waubeeka and that no one showed for it and the campground is now owned by the bank.

Campground CO-OP

CO-OPOften used to refer to million dollar New York high rise apartments, co-op is also found in campgrounds! Unlike a condo; in a co-op you do not own real estate, but rather a share of stock together with a (proprietary) lease for occupancy. The campgrounds’ real estate is owned by the corporation that issues the stock you own. This collective form of ownership is just like owning stock in GE, except for the added lease which specifies your right to occupy a particular location or "lot" during the time you own the stock.
