 To My Family has camped at Peters Pond for 49 years and joined the "club." If your family were a seasonal and purchased a park model from Morgan RV and spent anywhere from $60K to $150K for added florida rooms, sheds, etc. and were told that you had to either pay an additional $2,000 for 2012 seasonal fee...If your family overheard salespersons tell campers that your site was available because they are not a "club member" and your loved ones were being harassed daily and intimidated...If your family was told that you would have to replace your park model in 5 years with one of theirs at a cost of over $100,000...If Morgan RV did not return your phone calls... Would you still be happy and think you are being treated fairly? I doubt it. Morgan RV should SELL and get out of the hospitality business. On a positive note: If you camp at a Morgan RV property, as long as you do not settle in and are able to pack up & hookup to your vehicle in a moment's notice, you will be fine.  Waiting to hear what happened with the notes... Here in Buena ,NJ we now call this the last resort. All of a sudden work is being done so they can open the park due to all the storm damage. In the meantime they are allowing no visitors and they are giving the seasonals a hard time about coming in but of course won't refund any money to them.  We are staying at Stonebridge in Maggie Valley, NC Laundry room door broken, plywood repair. Four of the eight dryers are "Temporary OOC". Change machine broken. No soap in the mens rest rooms. These are financially easy repairs. This indicates to me that money is scarce. Rhumor is that it is going to cost 70K to put a new pool in. Don't put any money up front cuze you might not get it back. Water pressure is 30 pounds at my site and 45 a couple of rows over. on Peters Pond Park and Morgan Resorts Financial Troubles?

 I have been camping at Blueberryhill Morgan RV Park in Port Republic,NJ since I first started camping. Up until this year I never had a problem reserving a favorite site(s). I was there last Wed. 7/18/12 and was able to book 2 of the days at our favorite site. We decided to stay for 2 more days and when I spoke with the office personnel if we could stay either in this site or one of the other 6 -8 sites in the nearby area they said they were booked for the 2 days. I asked about staying in this site or one of these nearby sites just for Friday since it was a torrential downpour and they said no. Well Fri comes and goes and the site we were in was never occupied and neither were the other 6 in this area. I spoke with the mamager and she said "oh, we must have misunderstood you". Well it gets better because these other nearby 6 sites were never occupied the entire weekend! Now it seems to me if you have a regular paying customer (its just my husband and I, no screaming kids, we do not on Nationwide On Morgans side Morgan Rv Resorts, Morgan Management, Ideal Resorts BOYCOTT!

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — A group of residents of the Spruces Mobile Home Park say the park's owners are spiting them for fighting against – and winning – the recently proposed rent increase.
"They're taking it out on the residents because we had the audacity to fight them and we won," Tenants Association President Cynthia Clermont-Rebello said Friday while she stood with about a dozen tenants holding signs in protest on the sidewalk of Route 2. "The people here are so frustrated with this retaliation and we're tired of Morgan Management bullying our people."

Spruces Mobile Home Park Court Case Continued Again

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — The lawsuit intended to clarify the future of the Spruces Mobile Home Park has again been continued.
The park's owners, Morgan Management, sued the state attorney general and the town seeking eight orders that will help dictate the park's future. The park flooded during Hurricane Irene and displaced about 300 residents.

 My family has camped at PP for 49 years (not seasonals)and we entered into the membership. I love this park and over time I have definitely seem some upgrades made. I have some minor complaints, but that is the case with any place. I was not victim to any unfair sales practices so cant comment on that, but I also believe that these posts need to be taken with a grain of salt. This is a buiness and it needs to make money. Times change and things are no longer as simple or inexpensive as they used to be. I personally would no go on and on about the great customer service but that is not what I expect since this is not the Ritz Carlton - maybe there are so family run locations out there with this service but I would guess not for long since it is extremely difficult to be profitable in this day and age. My family is the 4th generation of "campers" here and we will return for the forseeable future because of the location, the beautiful grounds,and most of all the nostalgia.  Buena still isnt open. Im a seasonal and its not "safe" for me to camp yet but it is safe for their year round people to continue to live there since the night the storm hit on June 29. on Morgan Properties no longer listed on Auction.comin response to Mays Landing in no closed for July 4th week power out ,but when that comes back on I'm sure that the tree that fell across the pool will be there for weeks , as we listen to 4th manager of the year tells us they are waiting from Morgan for approval to get it removed.Morgan has done nothing but run what used to be a great campground into a ghetto in the woods.We have gone true 16 managers in9 years,2weeks ago they had no money to pay the dj we took up collection.Park is run with only 3 employes, so what I'm reading same in every park, we are looking for new park next year 9 years of Morgan way to much, by Anonymous.

 Still Stuck- Wow, I feel your anger as a former employee as well. I'm out now and I will tell you,things worked out wonderfully. There was a month on unemployment that was hard but through constant prayer, research and being proactive about posting resumes, i was working within 4 weeks. For months after I felt ashamed of myself and the way I treated guests and seasonals, i actually issued apologies to many of the seasonals I still keep in contact with. Keep your chin up. I know it's terribly hard and I know that financial stability is a big factor in staying. ( I have been there). You deserve to be treated professionally and well. I sacrificed so much of my family life and friendships being with Morgan, and no amount of money is worth that. Your job is something you should enjoy going to, it's just something you do, your life is something you should enjoy every minute.  NH - Pine Acres still has it's fair share of issues. We are dumping chlorinated water from one of its many water leaks into the river. The Town of Raymond is on the verge of shutting our water off. The store is not stocked. It has some bare necessities, but not much else. (Ice has come down to $1.50 a bag though, that's nice) Beach amenities such as the slide, and raft, are not up and working. The firetruck hasn't run yet this year. We were promised new washers and dryers for the laundry room early this year. The deal was all signed, we were just wating for delivery. Ya, we're still waiting. A lot of people are eithier leaving, or have plans not to return after the season is over. This is more on corporate's head though, not the park itself. People are tired of the fee's (not extendeing site fee on a sale, and transfer fee) and the unknowing of what the hell is going on. I'd like to buy a new trailer myself, but I don't trust the management enough to do so. I don't even want to spend on hater! Morgan RV Resorts ~ What to do when your customers hate you?

Us poor managers are berated and belittled over and over again until we want to shoot ourselves in the head and its about things and decisions upper management made. They throw us under the bus constantly when we have no say in anything. Its a joke. We get in trouble for not having our pool open, but we didnt get the money for the pool til 3 days before memorial day. The sales tactics we are forced to use are illegal and shameful. We raised millions of dollars in just a few short weeks by doing sales and when we asked to get a mower or a weedeater, we were told we had no money. Where did that money go, lol. We know where it went. Its evil and crooked shit and the people at corporate are just as much to blame as anyone. They continue to pass along his evil wishes and then they go home and sleep at night. How? We are expected and instructed to pay for things out of our own pocket, and then when we ask to get reinbursed, we get an email saying, anything not offically approved, wont be paid back. We all get screwed over and over again and we are stupid for allowing it, but some of us are stuck at the moment. They almost killed one of the other managers they hired by making him stay in a park that was terrible. We have 3 employees to run 500 sites and the week before opening weekend, when we have 100 things to do including the pool, we are told to cut back on staff because they wanted to save on payroll. What about the millions we collected the 2 weeks before. WOW, Again,I could go on for literally 20 pages of the things I have seen. The stupid people on this site are not Morgan, and not the employees,its the campers who keep staying. Wow, what are you thinking. The way to get Bob, is to not pay him. Really, its not rocket science. That how you hurt this idiot. Smarten up people. You have only yourselves to blame.

 NH - Pine Acres still has it's fair share of issues. We are dumping chlorinated water from one of its many water leaks into the river. The Town of Raymond is on the verge of shutting our water off. The store is not stocked. It has some bare necessities, but not much else. (Ice has come down to $1.50 a bag though, that's nice) Beach amenities such as the slide, and raft, are not up and working. The firetruck hasn't run yet this year. We were promised new washers and dryers for the laundry room early this year. The deal was all signed, we were just wating for delivery. Ya, we're still waiting. A lot of people are eithier leaving, or have plans not to return after the season is over. This is more on corporate's head though, not the park itself. People are tired of the fee's (not extendeing site fee on a sale, and transfer fee) and the unknowing of what the hell is going on. I'd like to buy a new trailer myself, but I don't trust the management enough to do so. I don't even want to spend on hater! Morgan RV Resorts ~ What to do when your customers hate you?

 Congratulations Bob Moser! You have created a camping community divided. You have forced over 70 families from PP to leave because of greed and harassment. Some families were punished when they protested the membership and you added an additional $2000 to their 2012 seasonal fee. Congratulations! You gave away thousands of dollars to campers who listened to the Membership with last year by offering free cameras, free booze, free site passes for 2012, etc. Lesson learned? We are your guests and want only to be treated fairly. Please let us help you and this blog can be changed to reflect positively...it's okay everyone makes mistakes. We understand. Let's make this wrong a right! You don't need a PR guy, just an open mind and an "affection" for campers. As a consumer, is it too much to ask to be fair, be respectful and provide good customer service?  Another review of Pine Acres, Raymond, NH. Since it is dated June 2012, have a hard time believing things are turning around but that's me! We checked Woodalls and Passport America books and saw nothing telling us this place can NOT handle a Big Rig. While traveling we called their reservation number. It's in Florida and the people there don't know the park. At the park, the one office person was unqualified. After a lenghthy checkin he guided us into the park to our site. What a huge mistake! The paved road turned into a 8-9 ft. road through a forest of uncut low hanging trees. I was forced to continue through scratching the rig. Some large branches were a my eye level spanning the road. When he got me to the site there was no way to maneuver into it. I asked for a better site. That was worse. I said I wanted out of this forest and a refund. I had to continue further through trees to get out. He could not arrange the refund. I spent a half hour on the phone with the Florida office on In Limbo ~ Your recent comments ~ Morgan RV

 I think if that particular camper is happy in NH and they're slowly turning the park around it could be the start of a domino effect. It's nice to see a positive comment on here. I understand that current seasonals, past seasonals, current employees and past employees are still very hurt and disgruntled by the antics of Morgan. They've done it all, 2 steps forward, 20 steps back, they have put people through difficult circumstances and then have somehow rectified them. The management has turned over and will probably continue to turnover until the company can find some stable ground, maybe NH is an example of this? In all of this, we all have a choice in the tolerance we will accept. Current Unhappy campers, you can leave, you can stay out of the campground politics and enjoy your site, Current Unhappy employees- You deserve to be happy, take the pay cut, stand up for what is right ( even though it's hard believe me I know) or tough it out.  Wow! We are having an issue with them over the Buena Vista Campground. They called the morning we were supposed to arrive to tell us the campground was closed due to damage from a storm a week prior and could not honor our reservation. They offered us camping credit in NJ at one of their other resorts but that does not interest us as we were only staying at the buena resort (which in all honesty is a dump) to support friends riding in the American Cancer Bikeathon. They are refusing to refund us siting "act of God" and told us that even if we had purchased their cancellation insurance they still would not refund us!  I do not think that many are blaming park managers for the activities of top management. Unless the park manager is a butt kissers as several in the past have been. In that case, they deserve all the scorn also. Let's face it, Jobs are difficult to come by. For every job opening there are hundreds of applicants. Top management uses this, but is void of morality or scruples. That is why they got themselves into this mess. In the past some employees were openly searching for jobs on the internet while employed by Morgan. Two sides of the coin. A person does what he has to do to survive, conversely also is responsible for his own actions. One would hope if a prospective employee researches Morgan in advance and has an option of turning down a job offer they would do so. BTW. What is going on at the other parks? Wi, Oh, Indiana Beach.  Mays Landing in no closed for July 4th week power out ,but when that comes back on I'm sure that the tree that fell across the pool will be there for weeks , as we listen to 4th manager of the year tells us they are waiting from Morgan for approval to get it removed.Morgan has done nothing but run what used to be a great campground into a ghetto in the woods.We have gone true 16 managers in9 years,2weeks ago they had no money to pay the dj we took up collection.Park is run with only 3 employes, so what I'm reading same in every park, we are looking for new park next year 9 years of Morgan way to much on Morgan Properties no longer listed on Auction.com

 It should surprise nobody that they found a way to sleaze out of their obligations and keep control. Last year at Wild Acres (Old Orchard Beach Maine) a handful of us rode the storm out. We didn't cave to the extortion and were not kicked off our sites. We thought the worst had passed. But the cockroaches are back in full force this year. I also spoke with a co-worker who camps at a Morgan owned park in New Hampshire. Moser has brought his bullies into this park. My advice to anyone still stuck in a Morgan rathole is to get out NOW. There are plenty of family owned parks out there eager for your business and who will accommodate groups of friends when they can. Make your plans while you still have some control.  I wonder how happy renters will be at Flaggs RV Resort Destination when they find that the Ideal Cottage that they have rented for big bucks is even tinier than the one they rented last year.
